Why you should come
At the core of it, Open Mics are all about having fun. Whether you are just starting out and want to brush up your stage skills, or you want to showcase your talents to the world, this is the place for you.
Trying to hit the high note and your voice cracks? no problem! Forgot the lyrics to the second verse? (we've been there) no problem! Accidentally played the wrong chord on your guitar, while your friend is singing her heart out? NO PROBLEM! See what we are getting at here? No judgements, just a supportive space to brush up your skills, showcase your talents, and most importantly, have some fun!
Since the theme for this Open Mic is ABBA, at least one of your songs have to be an ABBA cover. The rest can be whatever you want; a cover of some other artists, or an original. (Maximum 3 songs: We may have to reduce depending on sign ups) Be creative and have fun with it: Try to add your own flair to the songs. Make it your own. Instrumental covers are welcome. You can also bring a track if you need.
Acoustic Guitar, Keyboard and Cajon available at location. Feel free to bring your own instrument.
